The Mossy Rock Ranch is located in the heart of Texas, in Brown County, just minutes south of Cross Plains. The property is one of a kind with elevated hills that provides spectacular views of the ranch and game observation and several large open fields surrounded by oak flats. Turkey Creek runs throughout the property, providing ample water and cover for the many species of game you will encounter while on the ranch.

Living out in West Texas and my sons lining in New Orleans makes it very difficult to get together with them during deer seaosn out in Texas. I had heard of Mossy Rock Hunts and I took all three of them hunting in December 2015. We went ona 3 day hunt with 3 kills all scoring over 170", my boys thought they were in Heaven. The animal life on this ranch is the most top of the line in quality that I've ever seen and I've about seen them all. Aside of the huge animals and the wonderful hospitality between Michael Deveny and Gunner Sansing it was as good as it gets. Michae;s wife, Marissa, cooked 3 full course meals a day and the food was awesome! That being said, I would highly recommend Mossy Rock Hunts to anyone who wants the top of the line in wHitetails and lodging.
